Active Members shall be women actively engaged in a business or profession or retired from a business or profession. New candidates for membership cannot be retired for more than five years at the time of their application.
A candidate for membership shall be sponsored by a member who will present the nomination in writing to the Membership Committee. After consideration of the candidate's eligibility for membership, the Membership Committee shall report its findings to the Executive Committee. Approval of the nomination for membership by the Executive Committee shall require two-thirds (2/3) vote. Upon acceptance, after orientation, the President shall address a letter welcoming the canidate to the club and inviting her to the next meeting for installation.
